Some of my first work with 3D models and digital video-making. In these early works I was attracted to a quality of movement and scale that is generally impossible with analogue media. These new features in addition to the morphology of Stonehenge converge into the idea of zoetrope: a device that is animated by a circular movements. At a point of critical revolution, a zoetrope produces an illusion of a complete and living event. A spectral fact, a phantom discourse is generated by a movement inscribed within another.
